Exciting News!!!

I know..I know...it's been forever since I have posted! But life has a way of doing that to us! Hopefully I am back to stay...well at least for a very long time! Things in real life were just too demanding to be able to spend the time I wanted to in Second Life.

The exciting news is...... the opening of my new main store at Midnight Lotus (171, 45, 28)! Actually, it's a Gallery, where I am able to showcase all of my best designs. Of course I will also continue to add new creations. In the meantime here are a few pics of some releases since my last post.....

Ringed

My latest release at Shayla's is called Ringed. It is from my Leather Collection and is available in 4 steamy colors. A 5th HOT color is available FREE to my awesome groupies because I LOVE YOU! The best deal for this outfit is the Multi Pack which saves you 50% and on this particular outfit the Multi Pack is a MUST HAVE because the bandeau mixes and matches AWESOME with the other pieces! The best laid plans…..

I certainly had planned to have a new release ready sooner than this but it turns out rl can definitely get in the way. First, there was the very pleasant, but unexpected, trip and then there was the very unpleasant illness…also unexpected.

So, finally here it is…Revelen, part of the jewel collection. Revelen is the Old English word for reveal....which seemed an appropriate name for this gorgeous ensemble with its front and back plunging necklines. As always, one color is available only to Shayla's members. This month that color is Sapphire.

The outfit includes pants and top to create a very sexy catsuit and can be worn with or without the included jewel belt….or you can change to the teddy bottom for an even more intimate look. The multi-layered prim skirt with its attached jeweled belt flows beautifully and is worn with glitch pants. It is now available for purchase at Shayla’s in six other Jewel colors…

The boots I am wearing are also called Revelen and will be up for sale very soon. My perfect prim French manicured nails can be found at Inks & Kinks. The new hairstyle is from W&Y HAIR and called New129 "Type ALL.

Shayla's first post

This is my very first blog post. It has certainly been a month of firsts for me. The beginning of this month I opened Shayla's and released 3 new outfits. The first, designed before Shayla's opening, is called Entwined. It was inspired by an Ink’s & Kinks Tattoo by the same name. When I tried this tattoo on I knew I had to make something to wear that would show it off...and here's what I came up with...

The second outfit, also designed before the opening of Shayla's, is called Devilish. This one had a working title of "Crossed" until LisaAnne decided she just had to make a tattoo to go with the design. Then it became obvious to me its name had to be Devilish. Here is a picture....see if you agree with its new name. Both of these designs are available at Inks & Kinks and Shayla's. I am sure LisaAnne and I will collaborate on more designs since we had a great time working on these designs.

Last, but certainly not least, is Shayla's Dream. It has been a life long dream of mine to become a designer. LisaAnne has given me the incredible opportunity to do just that at Inks & Kinks for the last two years. We have now both decided that it is time for me to step out on my own. Of course I have not stepped too far away...I am still on Ink Island...but in my own main store. Appropriately, my first new creation for the grand opening is called Shayla's Dream. It is the first design of a collection I am calling "Jewel". The Amethyst version of the collection is this special month's group gift...with picture below.

Shayla's Dream is also available in the six jewel colors of ruby, emerald, black diamond, topaz, sapphire, and white diamond pictured below. Amethyst, however, is only available free to group members.

I am now working on the next design in the Jewel collection and will release it by the end of the week. Each month there will be a new release free to Shayla's members. I hope you enjoy my creations as much as I enjoy bringing them to reality!
